Terms of Use
Who we are and what these terms cover
The Sahrat app, the website sahrat.online and the Sahrat waiting list are provided by Shard Soft EOOD, a company registered in Bulgaria, in the European Union, based in Sofia. Contact: use the form on our contact page.
These terms apply when you install or open the app, play as a guest, create or use an account, or use the website. By doing so you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Sahrat.
Our privacy notices explain what data we collect and why. They are part of how we run the service, not part of these terms.
Who can play
- Sahrat is for people aged 12 or over. If you are under 12, do not use it. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under that age, we may close it.
- You must be able to accept these terms where you live. If you are under 18, make sure a parent or guardian knows you play and agrees.
- You may use Sahrat only where the law allows it.
Your account
- You can play as a guest, kept on your phone only, or sign in with Apple, Google or another method we offer. A guest account is lost if you delete the app or change phone.
- Keep to one account per person. Do not sell, buy, lend, share or transfer an account, and do not use another person’s account.
- Give true information when you sign in. Your display name, picture and flag must follow the conduct rules below.
- You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us if you think someone else is using it.
- You can delete your account yourself: open Settings in the app and tap Delete my account. Deletion cannot be undone, and your coins, items, friends and ranking are deleted with it.
The games
- Sahrat is free to download and play. Sahrat is in Beta: games, rules, screens and features may change, be paused, or be reset while we improve it.
- Each game follows the rules published on this site and shown in the app. The deals, rolls and shuffles are fixed before the first move and anyone can check a finished match on the verify page, so no player and no staff member can change them.
- You play against other people, and sometimes against bots. A bot is always labelled as a bot («لاعب آلي» in Arabic, Bot in English). Bots never take part in tables that use table coins as the entry.
Fair play
Everyone is here for a fair game. You must not:
- use cheats, hacks, modified apps, scripts, automation, bots or any tool that plays for you or gives you information you should not have;
- collude: share your cards or plans with another player outside the rules, play to help one player win, or arrange results with other players, including by voice or on another app;
- create or use several accounts to gain an advantage, to farm rewards, or to get around a suspension;
- exploit a bug, glitch or error instead of reporting it to us;
- deliberately stall, quit repeatedly to spoil matches, or leave a table so that others cannot finish;
- sell, buy or trade accounts, coins, items or rankings, or offer to play for money or any real-world reward.
If we find a breach, we may cancel the result, remove what it earned (coins, rankings, prizes), and restrict, suspend or close the accounts involved. We decide using our game records and reports from players. Where we can, we tell you why.
Disconnections, leaving and cancelled matches
- If you lose your connection, your seat is kept for about a minute, and you can come back to the same match. Turns that time out are played for you automatically by the game.
- On a free table, if you stay away longer or leave, a bot plays your seat, and you can take it back by rejoining while the match is running.
- On a table that uses table coins as the entry, leaving or staying away past the allowed time counts as a forfeit, unless you have already finished: you lose your entry and cannot win a share.
- If a table does not fill, or if our server stops the match because of a fault on our side, the match is cancelled and nobody is charged; if our server stops a match that has already started, every player’s entry is returned.
- We cannot control your internet, phone or battery. A drop on your side is not a reason to cancel or reverse a match.
Chat, voice and behaviour
Sahrat is for friendly evenings. At tables and in the lounges, in text, emotes, voice, names and pictures, you must not:
- insult, harass, threaten, bully or shame anyone, or spread hatred against people because of their religion, sect, nationality, tribe, race, gender, disability or other personal traits;
- send sexual, violent or shocking content, or ask minors or anyone for personal or intimate things;
- share private information about others, or share your own contact details, links, or social accounts to take players away from the game;
- advertise, spam, scam, ask for money or gifts, or promote gambling or any illegal activity;
- impersonate another person, our team or a public figure;
- publish content that breaks the law where you or the other players live.
Chat messages pass through a word filter. Voice is passed live to the players in the room and is not recorded, so we cannot listen back: if someone is abusive, report them. You can report a player or a message from the app and block anyone; a blocked player does not reach you. Our team reviews reports. We may warn, mute, limit chat or voice, suspend or permanently close an account, depending on how serious or repeated the behaviour is. If you think we got it wrong, contact us and we will look again.
Coins, items and no gambling
- Table coins are earned by playing: a starting grant, daily rewards, the daily refill, the periodic chest, season pass and event rewards, refunds, and winnings. They are used to enter tables. They are a game token only: they have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, traded, transferred or withdrawn, and cannot be exchanged for money or anything of real-world value.
- Looks and items (frames, titles, badges, dice, card backs, emotes) and gifts are licences to use them inside Sahrat. They are cosmetic, give no advantage in the game, have no cash value, and are not refundable. A gift is a symbol and gives the person who receives it no money.
- Sahrat is not a gambling service. There are no cash prizes, and you cannot stake or win real money. Do not run bets, side wagers or prizes for money among players.
- Payments are switched off today. If we switch them on, they will be made through Apple or Google under their rules, we will show the price before you buy, and we will update these terms and our privacy notice first. Paid things will not give an advantage in a match.
- We may correct your balance when there is an error, a fault, a refund, or a breach of these terms. When the service ends or your account is closed for breaking the terms, remaining coins and items are lost without compensation, unless the law says otherwise.
Tournaments and the season pass
- Tournaments, such as the Ludo cup, are free to enter. Prizes are cosmetic items (frames, titles, badges), never coins or cash.
- A tournament starts when it is full. Each match follows the rules above, including forfeiting if you leave. We may cancel, shorten or restart a tournament, and we may remove players who break the fair-play rules and give their place to the next player or take back their prize.
- The season pass is a track of rewards that you unlock by playing: looks, and table coins on the free lane. Seasons start and end on the dates shown in the app. If we offer a paid track, the terms above on payments apply.
Your content and ours
- What you write, say or upload (names, pictures, messages, feedback) stays yours. You give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, show and process it, only as needed to run, protect and improve Sahrat, and to review reports. You confirm that you may share it and that it follows the law and these terms.
- Sahrat’s software, design, art, sounds, texts and name belong to Shard Soft EOOD or our licensors. You may use them to play, but not to copy, resell, reverse-engineer or build another service from them.
- Ludo, Jackaroo, Baloot and our other games are traditional games. Names and marks of other companies mentioned belong to their owners, and we are not connected to them.
- If you send us an idea or feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
Changes to the service and to these terms
We may add, change, pause or remove games, features, rewards and seasons, update the app and its servers, and do maintenance, sometimes without notice. We may also stop the service, and will give notice in the app or on the site when we can.
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. We publish the new version here with its date, and tell you in the app for important changes. If you keep using Sahrat after a change, you accept the new terms. If you do not, stop using Sahrat and delete your account.
The website and the waiting list
- Joining the waiting list is free and commits you to nothing. It gives you no right to early access, a launch date, a particular game or any reward. You can leave the list at any time (see the privacy notice).
- Use your own name and your own mobile number or email. We may remove entries that look fake, automated or abusive.
- Your share link counts how many people join through it. We promise nothing in return for sharing it. Share it with people who would want it; do not send it as spam. We may stop or change share links at any time.
- Do not try to break, overload or misuse the site or its forms. The games, their order and the rules shown on the site are our plans and defaults and may change.
Our responsibility
We provide Sahrat as it is and as available, and we do our best to keep it running, fair and safe. We cannot promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that you will always find a table or a partner.
We are not responsible for loss that we could not reasonably foresee, for loss of coins, items, rankings or progress that have no cash value, or for problems caused by your device, your network, the app stores or other players’ conduct. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including for death or personal injury, fraud or intentional wrongdoing, and it does not take away your rights as a consumer.
You are responsible for your own conduct and content, and you will compensate us for loss caused by your serious breach of these terms, as far as the law allows.
Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Bulgarian law. This does not take away the protection that the mandatory laws of the country where you live give you, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and you may rely on them.
If you have a complaint, contact us first and we will try to settle it. If we cannot, the competent courts of Bulgaria decide, except that a consumer may also bring a claim in the courts of the country where they live, where the law gives that right.
Contact us
For any question about these terms, or to report a player or a problem, write to us. We reply in Arabic or English.
